The room was very small and hot on the top floor, but the shared bathroom and shower were kept impeccably clean and the staff, especially Sonja, were brilliant.

Proximity to the station. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Room on the small side (as indicated on website) which made shaving/showering slightly difficult. Bathroom lighting meant the mirror was mostly in subdued light so difficult to shave.

Family run business, friendly staff. The property is very convenient for an overnight stay pre or post travel from King’s Cross/St. Pancras. We were sisters travelling together and wanted a twin bedded room, none available so had to book a triple. A lot of facility crammed into a very small space, not conducive for a longer stay. Good point, there was a kettle! Would stay here again if no other option.

So disappointed! Our room in the basement was unbearably noisy with loud noise from passing trains every few minutes. I complained at reception and was told I should have requested a quiet room when booking . ( How ridiculous! I stayed here nine months ago and didn’t months ago with no problems and hadn’t made any special requests). I have an early trip on Eurostar and am exhausted because of very little sleep due to the constant noise. Why was I given this unsuitable room when I booked months ago.

Excellent location for trains, very helpful and pleasant staff, liked breakfast boxes. Our particular room was noisy at times but not a big problem. The bed’s mattress was uncomfortable—one of those that feels like marbles in the mattress.

Location is good as it next to St Pancras station which is what we wanted. However it was a bit noisy. We had a triple room and it was extremely small. It would have been ok as a double room only.
