The property has private access to Irish Beach within a short driving distance of the home. We truly loved our time here and will definitely visit again!”

“This property is nice, cute, well maintained and close to the beautiful California Coast. We enjoyed the hot tub and the afternoon sun with ocean breezes. We were hoping to be able to prepare dinner during our stay, but it was not easy with no oven or BBQ. We were able to improvise, but with limited local dinning opportunities fixing our own meals was a challenge. Fortunately for us we found a dinning gem at Anchor Bay Thai. Awesome food and service. The only other challenge was the water……

“This home was the perfect Oasis for our trip to “Better Place Forest” in Point Arena. We came to place my husband’s ashes beneath the Redwood tree we chose six years ago. The house was perfectly situated near “A better place”. The neighborhood is easy to access and quiet. My grand daughter was delighted to have the game room because it was raining when we arrived. The hosts are wonderful at responding promptly to questions. Would gladly stay here again. This is a 2 story house with the kitchen……

This VRBO was an ideal spot for us to stay - it's in a fantastic location on the coast with easy access to some beautiful hiking trails and beaches. The property was spotless when we arrived, check in was easy, and in a very quiet neighborhood. We would love to return.”

“This was our second visit to Irish Beach and to this house. We love sitting out on the deck enjoying the view, reading, watching the birds fly by and treating ourselves to time in the spa. The dark sky stargazing is grand. The walk on the beach down to where the Garcia River flows into the ocean below the Point Arena Lighthouse is the perfect way to renew and refresh. Irish Beach is a beautiful place and this house is ideal for the full effect of coastal ambience.”

“We had a great time! Lots of wildlife, the hot tub was great, House was clean and perfect size for our family of six. It was close to where we went canoeing and horseback riding. And the ocean was amazing! Loved it!”

“Beautiful house with modern appliances and furniture. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking tools and seasonings which appreciated. The toilets were amazing because they were electric. The location was so peaceful and I would highly recommend to anyone. We wish we stayed longer.”

“Definitely an older home and smaller than I anticipated from the photos and descriptions. The host was responsive at first about early check in, but when I tried to ask about getting use to the washer and dryer there was NO response at all. The wood burning stove in the living room didn't put much heat out and not great ventilation so it was smokey smelling at times. Location was nice and close to Irish Beach but about 10 mins to the nearest grocery store in either direction and about 20-25 mins……

“We had a wonderful stay, very pleased, lots of extras, but it is not a 4 bedroom house (more later). Sitting at the dining room table there is a view out between houses to see the ocean. The master bedroom deck has an even better view. The master bedroom is spacious, as is the larger of the other bedrooms. The third bedroom is small with room for the bed and not much else. The 'fourth bedroom' - the office with a pull out couch we didnt use. It is private but is quite small concrete block……

“The property was more remote than we anticipated. If you are looking for a true getaway, this is your spot. The local Elk grocery & mercantile store clerks were wonderful and full of ideas to fill our time. We took a trip to Mendocino and Fort Bragg along the beautiful coast. The house was so cozy, clean & charming. We will for sure return”
