"This is one of the few New York properties that lives up to the hype. In a crowded city this apartment has spacious rooms with tall ceilings. Non-New Yorkers will find the kitchen small'ish but it is well stocked and had plenty of room to make a family meal. Double windows on the street side make city noise all but disappear. "On my solo 3 night stay I felt very safe and had no problem walking everywhere from the Kixby. The room was small but comfortable. The keurig, small fridge and safe along with walk in shower were definite bonuses. However the aircondition unit was very noisy so I unplugged it. I alerted the front desk after the first night and was told they would send a repair person to my room. I returned to it plugged in again and still noisy. "I had a great stay here. The rooms are very plain but exceptionally clean. The staff are so friendly. The restaurant food was ok but I liked the staff so much that it was still a great experience. I think for the price I paid, this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, in NYC. Great transportation links as well. Recommend for your first time in the city. "

I was told by phone that there was parking on site, which there is not, and this was problematic for our stay.
