“My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 12th wedding Anniversary. Such a great idea to change things up. We absolutely enjoyed everything about this cozy getaway. We had everything we needed to be able to fully enjoy ourselves. The owners were absolutely awesome in making sure we had a great stay and connected with us during our trip to give us some great pointers for local fare and things to do. Will absolutely be planning to stay here in the future, highly recommend!”

“This property is beautiful! It’s less than 15 minutes from Lago Vista, which has a grocery store and food places, and is about 10 minutes from a beautiful spot on Lake Travis. The property is quiet and beautiful, and the owner was very helpful and kind with check in and questions during our stay. One thing to be sure you are aware of is that there is no running water, and the bathroom is a port-a-potty. This was fine with us, but we didn’t see this detail before arriving. It just felt more like……

“This stay definitely exceeded all of our expectations!! The cabin is wonderful!! It’s simple, yet elegant, inviting, cozy, beautiful, and very romantic. It’s decorated perfectly and feels like you are at home. We only went into town to eat as we wanted to spend most of our time at the cabin. Our host was so easy to work with and had a sign, a card, and a bottle of wine waiting for us to make us feel even more welcome!! The location is a world away but close to everything around you at the same……

“The cabin met all my expectations and desires. Nestled in the woods, it offered a serene view of the countryside. Its tranquil atmosphere provided a perfect escape from city life. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning.”

“Oftentimes, when we actually get to the place we find it falls short of the carefully chosen pictures of the property. In this case, the property and accommodations were better than the pictures. All of the the materials and features within the room were top notch (The only thing that I would recommend upgrading is the coffee maker). One thing I was concerned with before we went was how much privacy we would have given that the individual places were next to each other but this was not a problem……

“We had an absolutely amazing time enjoying NYE at Safari for the Soul. The property exceeded our expectations, and the accommodations felt nicer than many fancy resorts. The land was beautiful, we got to explore by the river, and it was all very quiet and tranquil for a usually noisy holiday. Can't wait to come back!”

“Second visit was great and really enjoyed staying in a different tent. Last time I stayed in the tent with the soaking tub and this time it was the tent with jacuzzi tub. Both have been great accommodations! The only thing is when we came in from a long day of hiking activities, we wanted to check in back home and also watch tv unwind., the internet went out both nights. When I messaged the owners about the issue they stated nothing was wrong but the service clearly was not working as we could……

“Scott and Denise could not have done a better job with this magical place. We arrived with intentions to checking out nearby attractions. Much to our surprise we instantly fell in love with everything SAFARI FOR THE SOUL had to offer and never left the property. The peace & tranquility brought another level of awareness for us that we cannot explain. We plan to return soon. Than you for also allowing our sweet Lucy (pup) to join us. We all needed this.”
