It’s unique. The view from the top observation deck is pretty neat, but really no need to spend more than an hour at this place.

Tv did not room we were there for 4 days though after I complained they did reimburse me a portion. There was a fight outside our room one night police involved and a man had a gun very frightening as I had my daughter and granddaughter in the room next to ours. Initially they charged us for parking our car we didn’t have a car. There was some mold in the shower as well. I probably would not return to the hotel. As far as staff the gentleman who served the breakfast was very nice, polite and professional.

Room was great. Being in a Bass Pro Shop was different. Since the store closed at 7 it was really quiet at night. Not sure the rooms were insulated that well because we could hear the kids in the room next to us.

The only food option was Wahlberg‘s, they have a bowling alley with Bar & Grill that was OK and then they have a restaurant on the top floor. We did not die there. We just simply ran out of time.

For the most part the staff was extremely polite and accommodating. The front desk reps were knowledgably, patient and very upbeat. Housekeeping was friendly and respectful. Each time I passed a member they spoke and asked if I needed anything. I did have an incident at Waldburger. The server frightened me to the point that I will never visit a Restautant there again. I was picking up a take-out order. She accused me of disrespecting her. I was talking to some else and she took it that I was talking to her. And got in my face. I walked back to the bar, 5 min later she came to the bar and said, " I don't know who you think I am I'll mess you up heard me." I asked the bartender who was in hearing range for the manager. When I brought it to the attention of the manager on duty, he shrugged his shoulders and smiled dismissively. He never asked the employees name made no attempt to assure me that he would investigate the incident. He didn't ask my name of if I was staying in the hotel, never asked if I was ok even with me looking upset and my voice was shaking. He did ask the employee's name (which I don't know because I was afraid to look at her). The bartender gave me the manger's name Haverya. I've stayed at Bass Pro five times. Three with a friend and twice on my on. I love your hotel and planning to return in Sept and Dec. My hopes are that you instruct you management staff on deselection and courtesy. And frontline employees to bring any perceived conflict to mngment

My family and I stayed for Memorial Day weekend We arrived TVs did not work . I walked into the room with my daughter alone and the door was wide open . I m walking around saying Hello . Everything is a charge when they say smores online for kids they charge $5.49 . When they make it sound complimentary. Crazy charges by the hotel for no reason and they can’t explain why . If you need something your own your own for the price it’s more Hype then value.

Only reason for a mediocre review is after spending $3,000 the Breakfast buffet was what other hotels have, nothing special and the cost was $25.00 per person. Eggs, sausage and pancakes…..sorry, but that was crap and that was the last thing I experienced as I was leaving. We ate down the road,at a mom and pop place, great food for way less. Give your hotel guests that food for free, they have spent enough with you as it is.

The pyramid and Bass Pro Shop are great. We had a wonderful experience. The Big Cyprus Lodge is unique but the rooms are showing wear to the point of dingy. Very dimly lit bathroom stall in the room, quite odd. Also, the restaurant and observation deck area is looking a like it is in need of a refressh.earn

Miscommunication about the jacuzzi tub. It was small only the standard bathtub size so it only fit one person at a time. Also I had to check in twice. And there was no communication about where to get breakfast. It was a lot of money spent to get from a room with unlisted amenities. In there brochures it said to look for listed amenities. I never found them. I checked the website and found the only amenities was a free ride to the top floor viewing area. I had a disappointing stay.

This place is for EVERYONE.....what an amazing experience. I highly recommend. My only issue is with the staff...not very communicative or knowledgable about their jobs. Valet parking was a constant issue as well....short staffed. Expect to take more time waiting for your car and start earlier so you won't be late.

Our stay at Cypress Lodge could not have been any better. The rooms were absolutely awesome and created such a great ambience with its cabin in the woods decor! We loved the screened in porch overlooking bass pro shops! Having free transportation to everything in a 3 mile radius was extra special! Loved the views from the Lookout at the top of the pyramid! We were so sad to leave but know we will come back in the future!
