"They had breakfast of toast, Bagels, Yogurt, coffee, tea, juice and cereal. Then the breakfast room was also open the rest of the day for lounging or to just kick back. They had sodas, fruit, coffee, tea, yogurt and snacks. The hotel is on the older side but very nice and well kept. 1 1/2 to 2 blocks to Times Square. Would stay there again if I went to NYC."
"Successful short family break.
Lovely staff, good cafe in the hotel and Bar 54 is a nice place to go. We had a high room and twin queen beds. Really enjoyed our stay. "
"Liked the iPad use to control the room. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Check in and out very simple. Staff very friendly.
Good size bed but a bit difficult to get in and out as bed is against the wall."

5/5 Excellent
"The staff was fantastic and one of the best parts of the hotel. It is hard to beat the location as you are right in Times Square, and lots of things are within walking distance or a quick ride on the Subway. The primary downfalls are that it is older, thus, things such as bath tub have paint chipped in several places in the tub itself. The water in the shower is a bit finicky, and it can get very hot or suddenly turn cold (this happened to myself, my wife, and my son). The lobby is fairly small, and there is not much room to sit and wait, do some work, have a cup of coffee, etc. My suggestion is there is a place that they rent out by the escalator. They should open this up during the day and make it a larger lobby. It has a great view of Times Square. They could also expand seating areas to the floor above which has an escalator going up to it. It was usually roped off, thus, I did not see that area. Nevertheless, overall I think the hotel was a great value and definitely worth revisiting again. I highly recommend it if you are OK with a bit older looking hotel with a small lobby. By the way, if there is a long line for coffee, there is a great little place just outside of the hotel called Masseria Cafe and Bakery with usually no line"

"I have been staying at the Paramount for the past 15 years and have been there many times.
I love the lobby atmosphere and the rooms are very well designed to make great use of tight real estate in the middle of Manhattan. The location can’t be better - literally 2 minutes walk from the center of Times Square. Very good value for money also."

"Property was centrally located in the middle of Times Square. Hotel staff was very friendly, and the housekeeping staff was very attentive to ensure we had adequate towels, etc. for all four guests in the room. That is rare. Also great location as we had tickets to see The Wiz right in the Marquis Theatre in the hotel. "
