I don't usually do reviews just because I don't want to take the time however for this hotel I will make an exception. I got the shuttle from the airport and the driver Derek was very engaging. The grounds of the hotel was clean and inviting. I was greeted at the front desk by Sarah. I was impressed because there was more than one person checking in and she gave each one her undivided attention ans. any and all questions. Just when I thought customer service was dead I get to meet Sarah. Thank you. Being on the 2nd floor I had to take the elevator. Spotless. No smells. My room was clean and inviting. The bed was VERY comfortable and the pillows were like sleeping on clouds. Checking out Shannon was awesome making check out smooth and effortless. This will be my choice of hotel whenever I'm in Minnesota. Last but not least Mall of America is just across the road.

Numerous issues brought up to front desk employees none of which were resolved….some were minor inconveniences that I could have overlooked, but unfortunately the bigger issues trumped the experience…..fan in bathroom didn’t work, a/c vent/fan in room was shaking/rattling every time it ran really loud and on 2 occasions our room keys stopped working to enter the building and our room. The biggest issue was the following: the light shade had what looked to be blood splatter all over it, and then the carpet between the nightstand and bed had a dark stain (not sure what from), but it smelled horrible, like stale food/old vomit. It was disgusting and when the air would kick on the entire room smelled like it. I covered it with bags and sprayed just so I could sleep at night as I was the one that unfortunately got stuck next to it. I took pictures of everything and will be contacting corporate/management. It’s really too bad, they have a great location for MOA and serve breakfast, also have what could be a great pool area since it has the pool, hot tub and kid water play area.

Property lies about amenities there is no electric car destination charger it is a 15 amp household outlet with no charger and is at lobby with no parking. Staff is very rude and unfriendly. Pool was not great and security was everywhere yelling and treating guests poorly. Won’t stay hear again. Didn’t much appreciate the lie about the destination charger and having to pay to charge at a public charger when specifically picking a hotel that had charger listed.

General manager was absolutely horrendous , charged me twice for items in the lobby off of a credit card I did not authorize. Then told me I did it and allowed a customer to yell and scream at me about my credit card charges. They never returned my money and told me it was nothing that they could do for me.
