“A bit pricey, but it's the only hotel in North Vernon. It was clean and quiet. Typical continental breakfast with waffles, yogurt, cereal, etc. Nothing fancy, but it's a good place to get a good night's rest.”

“Our stay was perfect, my partner and I stayed here as a nearby spot to watch the solar eclipse as part of our road trip and to avoid the traffic afterwards. The host was very nice and accommodating. We had no issues with anything and even though there was a house right behind us, we weren't bothered. Another review mentioned an issue with the hot water during showers but my partner and I didn't notice anything. We usually both take about 15 mins and the water kept hot. Other than that. We had……

“"When can I move in?" This property was my personal heaven on earth dream home. I spent four days of no worries, relaxation, and comfort in this cabin. Close to Madison and Clifty Falls State Park if you really want and/or need to leave, but why? ;-)”

“We love staying at the Sonshine Cabin....been six times now. It is clean, quiet, and peaceful. Sitting on the porch swing watching birds or plopping a camp chair in the creek at the end of the trail while the kids play are both ideal activities. Madison is a quick trip too and there's so much to do in town.”

“It was an adventure crossing the creek after a lot of rain, but we made it! There was plenty of room for our family of 11. The host was very attentive to our needs. Not every family member was prepared for the rusticness, but we had a great time nonetheless. The area is just gorgeous!”

Really enjoyed being able to take my dog on a walk through the woods. We spent many hours around the firepit in the backyard. We would absolutely stay here again.”
