"Beautiful property with large rooms close to several major museums adjacent to a quiet residential neighborhood and a busy shopping/dining area."

"The area is a very nice area. Unfortunately it comes with a lot of very loud construction noise - starting at 7 AM. Also, as a beautiful, old house, the bathroom sink clogged up twice during a 2-day stay and water did come out from the pipes onto the bathroom floor. The staff & service & amenities were excellent."

"That shower though! You have got to let guests know the showers don't drain well and to not go full water pressure. It will flood the bathroom fast. Also, not everyone knows how the handheld control works. Some instructions would be great!"

"Fantastic location! One downside: room got hot at night. We went in May and it was unusually warm (high 70s) and there was no breeze (we stayed in 6th floor and slept with window open). "

"We stayed for 3 nights and loved the hotel, staff and location. We always look for local hotels when travelling and staying here certainly added to our Amsterdam experience. We were made to feel really welcome and we were given lots of local recommendations. They couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy and we were even given a very late check out as as we had a late flight out in the evening. Would have paid more to stay here and would recommend to anyone who is happy to do local...
