“7 bedrooms, most with water views, were perfect for my siblings and me, our spouses and children, and our mother to spend a glorious weekend together! We hosted an unforgettable 80th bday party for our Mom with all our extended family and friends. Wow! The house is gorgeous! It is perfect for a event. The grand hall, the ability to open up the rooms to the backyard, and the VIEW, truly set the stage for a beautiful evening. The home is truly remarkable! My mom was overwhelmed and so thankful……

“Good apartment for a big group. A few minutes away from Manhattan by train.”

“We stayed at the New Dawn for a Memorial Service. The setting on the water was so peaceful and private, yet easy access for those of us traveling by public transportation from Manhattan and La Guardia airport. We had chairs lined up facing the water for a Celebration of Life Ceremony. The whole downstairs layout was just wonderful with indoor and outdoor areas for people to gather, sharing memories and grief. Food platters from Costco were easily arranged and the weather was perfect. It was so……

“No toilet paper ”

“The house is in a great location in New Rochelle, near to a train station to commute to the city and for family coming in on Amtrak from Boston. The main floor of the house is cozy with a lovely kitchen and lots of seating space. Bedrooms were a nice size and we all felt the beds were extremely comfortable. Shower was really nice, too. Owner was responsive and easy to work with throughout the process.”

“Clean & comfortable”

“This hotel was okay. The room was clean, but small. When we got to the room the room door was open😳 I asked about it and the receptionist said the housekeeper may have left it open. There is no guaranteed parking. To guarantee parking you have to pay 17$ a night. There is a 200$ refundable incidental fee. The free breakfast was ok.”

“The sheets were way over bleached and burned my skin. The bed is way too soft and the sofa is uneven and sinks. The area is quite scary especially at night, and it is surrounded by vacant lots and construction zones. Most of the other stores in this building are closed, and homeless people walking around. The cleaning products use have a distinctively bad smell that even the air conditioning couldn’t eliminate, and the air conditioners are so loud you can’t hear the tv if they are running.”
