Location and property were fantastic! However, housekeeping was a bit off. We had just arrived and were changing clothes, and housekeeping let themselves into our room! No knock or anything....they just opened the door and proceeded to come in to look for something. Quite startling. The next morning we got a knock on our door at 6:30am from maintenance. They knocked until I answered the door (we were still sleeping), and said they were there to fix our shower door. They had the wrong room and had woken us up without apology. I did receive a call from the front desk to apologize after I shared the two incidents with them, but that was it. I thought maybe they would do something to compensate us for messing up twice, but nothing. The rest of our stay was fine and we had no other surprises from the staff.

Let’s begin with the negatives.. No mini fridge and the ice maker was broken on the 21st floor. The hotel staff were amazing. Lovely and helpful folks. Everyone from the gentlemen who helped ua with our bags, to the housekeeper were wonderful . They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and accommodate. A very good experience!

Location! Time Square and an amazing view. Just Wow! Close to the Shows. CVS on the corner. Kristy Kremes. Always felt safe. Subway stations are close. Hotel restaurant is moderately priced. $85 can ride jfk. Bryant park walking distance Rockefeller Square walking distance.

All the staff was very helpful and courteous, however not having a concierge to direct you to activities was disappointing. Having arrived very early, being able to drop off luggage to visit NYC during the day before checking g in was most appreciated. My only other comment would be that the site’s street-level signage was quite poor. It was a bit challenging to find the entrance.

The hotel itself was very nice and the room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant and answered any questions we had. The only critique of the room was there wasn't a bathroom fan so after a shower it was very humid and difficult for my girlfriend to do her make up. My main issue with this property was the moment you exited the front of the building, there were people bombarding you with whatever hustle they had going that day. Every time we left the building, and I mean everytime, there was someone standing right at the door trying to sell you bus tours. We must've said no at least 50 times in 2 days. I'm not sure there's anything the Crowne Plaza can do short of ask these people not to stand directly at the door but it was definitely off-putting.

Good location for going to shows. But it's elbow to elbow tourists. Were ripped off by yellow cab driver who said his meter wasn't working after he started to drive. Arranged by the hotel curb side staff!!
