"This was a lovely Older and quaint hotel! I was there right before the season started so there was only six or seven guest stain in the hotel at the time. There was always somebody at the front desk and they were very nice. There was a gentleman that made me food to order exactly as I wanted in the kitchen each morning, which was great!! The room was very comfortable and well decorated. The location was just a couple blocks from walking into the main part of the town so it was great and...

"I enjoyed my stay at The Hawthorne Hotel. The proximity to a lovely green walkable space The Common was an unexpected bonus. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff is very nice, the food at the Tavern and Nathaniel’s was outstanding! Blueberry pancakes = delicious! A few items that could be improved: the entry doors could be refreshed / cleaned well. The bed pillows could also use a refresh. Overall though a wonderful stay in a historic hotel. "
