“Had an amazing time at Wanderlust 31. I am so excited about returning, and it will be soon. My only suggestion to those who are staying for the first time do not leave your beach wagon. Your wagon is needed to transport your items from your car to the boathouse. Other than that, everything was perfect hurry up and booked your stay.”

“My husband and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary and truly enjoyed our stay! The Retro Villa was clean, neat, and fully stocked with plenty of necessities. Our favorite spot in the villa was the deck with an incredible view to the Marina.We visited the beach, shopped, and experienced a relaxing and informative boat tour on the Cape Fear River. “The boat is in a great location right on the ICW..Enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the boats go by. Beds were comfortable. We had 3 people, 2 slept in stern bedroom and one in the bow. Really fun way to spend a weekend rather than a motel.. Short drive to restaurants and beach. Quarters were a little tight but manageable for our group of 3. We will do it again when we get back to Wilmington. ”

“This is probably one of the best vacation rental experiences I have ever had. On our way down the host alerted us to a change in parking due to President Biden being in town. The houseboat is fully stocked with everything you need. We really enjoyed sitting on the upstairs deck, taking in the beautiful views of the water. We were attending a concert at Live Oak Pavilion which was just a short walk away. So convenient to great restaurants and shops. I highly recommend The Basics on Front St. for……
