“Just a couple of suggestions... it was challenging to make a simple pasta dinner as there wasn't a colander and no oven mitts that I could find. Not very many dishes, including no wine glasses that I could find. The bathroom door unlatches and opens from the draft of the front door being opened.”

“Perfect getaway while we spent time at Redwood National Forest. Being near Sue-Meg State park was an added bonus as we enjoyed hiking along the coastline. The cottage was clean and cozy. The full kitchen was very handy for cooking meals. Overall, looking forward to staying here again next time we're in the area!”

“This is our third stay at the cabin and we enjoyed our visit. Our 2 small dogs can wander the property off leash and it is generally very quiet. However, the pellet stove can get a bit loud when it is on high fire. The internet connection was very fast and reliable - which has not been the case on some of our stays at other remote locations.”

“1. This is camping in the back hills. Worth the trip. It is as advertised. bring your own blankets and food that can be warmed on a wood stove. 2. The area had a recent fire but is recovering nicely. 3. the camp itself is worth the trip 4. Communication from expedia to vrbo to Dan Sasquach was severely lacking. ”

“As long as you set your expectations to truly camping in a tree house you won't be let down! The directions were so helpful, we had a bit of confusion about where to park, and it is a cold water only place. But it was such a treat to camp in a tree house, to take the dirt roads and truly be off the grid, and the cold water added to the experience. We were charmed by the mosaics all over the farm, and my children still talk about the sweet dogs that stuck by our sides the whole time. We will……

“Absolutely loved our stay here! The ambiance was charming, the cleanliness top-notch, and the atmosphere incredibly soothing. Being just a stone's throw away from the beach was a dream, especially with the added bonus of having it nearly all to ourselves. Plus, their thoughtful provision of a hose outside made cleaning up our two furry friends a breeze after their sandy romps. Overall, an enchanting experience that left us feeling rejuvenated and thoroughly content.”

“The house was adorable and perfect for our relaxed little family of four and fur kids. We are easy going and really don’t need too much. With that said it was a rainy weekend and the walk from our vehicle to the house was extremely wet, socks, shoes, bottom of pants soaked. A nice little stepping stone walkway would be awesome. But unlike the rest of my family I packed rain boots and didn’t have an issue. The area was serene the hike to the beach definitely a crows mile, we didn’t ever end up……

“What a gem! We loved our stay at Mendo Bungalow. It’s charming, quiet, super clean & comfortable. The managers go the extra mile to make guests comfortable. Chairs on the lawn with a fantastic view, s’mores kits, water bottles in the room. Every thoughtful detail—so nice to settle in for the night in a place like this. Also very close to Mendocino—4 minute drive to restaurants, stores, coastal walks, etc. ”
