“Great harbor view! Loved hearing and seeing the boats go out this morning! ”

“It was perfect in every way, for our honeymoon. Spa tub and fireplace and ocean view/and sunset. Just one suggestion, for breakfast something available besides sweet pastry, and a couple fruit selections. Overall, top notch!”

“Easy check-in/check-out. Staff was friendly, though we did get some incorrect info about what restaurants were open. Room has a bit of a musty/old smell, but otherwise clean. The blankets are a bit thin (but there were extras available), and the towels a bit scratchy. Great location, and lovely view of sunset colors!”

“Dirty and some flies in the room, there are hairs left on the bed and pillows,the wallpaper is broken, and homeless stayed at the hotel door who will ask you for money.”

“What we love: Beautiful landscape, wonderful veggie garden, lovely chicken coop and feeding experience, large llama ranch and kids accessing them being so fantastic. Ocean view and gorgeous balcony vibe. Friendly staff. What we don't like: For our suite, the bathroom being so tiny, not good for families. The window shades in the bedroom are not blocking light The room-served breakfast basket looks amazing, but could have more actual food to fulfil adults lol”

“What a gem! We loved our stay at Mendo Bungalow. It’s charming, quiet, super clean & comfortable. The managers go the extra mile to make guests comfortable. Chairs on the lawn with a fantastic view, s’mores kits, water bottles in the room. Every thoughtful detail—so nice to settle in for the night in a place like this. Also very close to Mendocino—4 minute drive to restaurants, stores, coastal walks, etc. ”

“The heavy bathroom door springs back to close automatically keeping in humidity. Service at the restaurant was too slow but the food was descent. ”

“Spacious cabin in the Redwood forest with beautiful views. Cabin was clean, quiet, close enough to town for dinner, but remote enough to be just what we wanted. Thankful for the on-site laundry facilities. as we were muddy after hiking.”

“Great historic lodge feel, fascinating old lumber company town. Really nice people at the front desk (10/10), really some of the best in my extensive travels. The room was attractive and perfectly clean, had lots of character with all the modern conveniences. Only one fairly serious complaint, which is no restaurant. Not even food at the bar there. Had to go to the neighboring town for a take out sandwich for dinner. That needs to change.”
