“House is very nice - also quite remote feeling but not far from restaurants and Governor’s Harbor. The beach is beautiful! Tenielle was a wonderful host! The only thing that could use repair is the long driveway. However, it is like many driveways on Eleuthera so I think you just have to expect it (but don’t be surprised as it’s quite a bumpy road).”

“We had a wonderful time with our group of friends. The house was in a nice central location and the house manager was very accommodating. The power went off a couple of times and the house generator came on immediately. That was a great PLUS! My ONLY recommendation would be some upgrades on the small appliances, (no big deal) and dresser’s in the bedrooms, otherwise, it was perfect. We will visit again. We LOVE Eluethera and all the Bahama Islands and the people. 🇧🇸”

“The house was beautiful to match the view. It was super clean and well-kept. It was nice to have items like beach towels and a cloth cooler to be able to use. It was easy to find and a perfect distance from Governor's Harbor. We were greeted by the owner, and she later graciously resolved an internet issue. She followed up later to make sure it was still working. In our opinion, this home is located on the prettiest beach of the island. We will certainly be coming back!”

“Desert Rose was terrific from start to finish. The cozy house sits atop a beautifully turquois piece of the Atlantic ocean. Perfect for what we wanted...to simply relax and be in the surroundings of a largely untrafficed island. “I have been going to Eleuthera for over 20 years. Every home is different and being on a remote island has its challenges for property owners. This home sits on a great beach with plenty of privacy. It was very clean and the check in process was super easy. Some items are worn, but everything works. The bed in the blue bedroom sways and is super soft (the only negative).
