When we arrived at the hotel and we saw how dirty and smelly it was we decided to go out to look for another hotel but everything was full, we went to Walmart and bought sheets and disinfectants to be able to clean and thus not spend a more unpleasant stay, that hotel must be closed.

This hotel needs a lot of work. Moldy and musty rooms. They sprayed so much smelly stuff when we first checked in that we had to keep our slider open 24/7. We requested no maid service so they wouldn't come in and keep spraying. The bath tub didn't drain. The pillows were yellow. My husband has asthma, we booked a 3 night stay and ended up leaving after 2 nights because of all the mold aand musty smell in the room. He was constantly taking his inhaler.

Not for families. There is a loud bar that is adjacent to the outdoor pool that is littered with drunk twenty-something’s in thong bikinis that take over the pool. It is very loud until 7 pm. The picnic area has people hanging out and drinking until late hours of the night. Our efficiency was dirty. The stove had food crumbs and there were spills around the edge of the fridge floor. The table to eat was sticky and the tub had hair in it. I had to go through the room with antibacterial wipes. We were denied extra towels and toilet paper by the cleaning staff. I will say the nice gentleman at the check in desk gave us super early check in at 9 am, so that was nice. Their fitness center has one treadmill from 1970, and there is no ac in the small room, which is kept locked. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

A few of the staff was not friendly or helpful. I booked for a room with a little kitchen and did not get it. There was ants everywhere in the room we could not put our luggage on the floor. This looked nothing like the photos on their website.

First time staying in this particular beach town, we like going offseason. Oceanfront location was nice, it is wayyyyy up at the northern end of the boardwalk though, so it's a trek down to where the "action" is. What I didn't like was the pervasive smell of marijuana, from the front desk to the hallway. Always. They make a big deal out of "no smoking in the rooms" but apparently everyone but us were partaking. When I booked a first floor room, I didn't realize that boardwalk-level is considered first floor, so from the parking lot you have to walk up interior steps or go to the front desk to take an elevator.

We haven't been there in several years. We arrived and were greeted pleasantly. It was my birthday and I was given my choice of an ice cream. We went to our room only to find remnants of a fresh deuce in the toilet. Our room was freezing. We went downstairs to the front desk to have the heat put on only to receive an attitude from a male worker that the temps would be in the 80s on Tuesday. We were there for Fri-Sun. Eventually, a maintenance worker came to adjust the HVAC which was very dusty under the cover, yuck. We had an oceanfront room with 2 queen beds that seemed to be full-size to me. The mattresses were horrible as in the way you sunk in and it turned up. I understand we were there in the off-season but it needs some upgrades along with vent cleanings.

The staff was amazing. I am disabled and they helped me every was possible. Special thanks to the front desk staff. Additionally, someone hit my car in the parking lot, damaging the driver side mirror, and a staff member helped tape it up. The only downfall is parking.

While happy for the common area on the third floor and game room on the second, I was diappointed in this hotel. The photos are deceiving. It's an old hotel and looks like regular maitenance is overlooked. Many places have worn away paint, or is dirty. The desk clerk looked like she couldn't muster a simple good morning (the guy was very nice). The carpet in the hallway was fstained . My room, while clean, was not the sparkling room in the pictures. The refrigerator (while clean) was covered with rust spots on the door and looks so old and nasty. The bed was the worst! One vibrated with the HVAC unit . The mattresses were the worse and obviously are very old and had more spring than bedding. I couldn;t sleep in the first one it was so uncomfortable. They don't tell you there is no room service, but leave a tip note. WHy? Finally, the worst thing was I found balcony door unlocked! There is no barrier to prevent someone from crossing all the baclconies on that floor.I had to check the closet, bathroom, and under the beds to ensure no one was hiding in the room. I stayed the last day before they shut down for the season.By the looks of it, they don't really spend that time cleaning, replacing, renovating. It just looks old and dingy. Was it worth the cost - not even close.
