Our check in person, Cornell was AMAZING! He started our trip off with such friendliness, helpfulness, and was top notch of any check in staff we have encountered in Orlando!

Property was conveniently located and the walk to IoA was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food options were better than expected, particularly the sushi restaurant! Wished the healthy options in the market were of better quality.
My biggest issue, however, is the design of the place. The hotel’s theme is confusing, loosely pan-Asian with no clear, consistent cultural tie. This is often due to the laziness, and frankly, racism of management to actually understand cultural differences among different Asian countries. The “aloha” greetings and plastic leis are a cheap nod to Hawaiian culture. The tuk tuk market is then named after a common Thai mode of transportation. The statues in the courtyard can pull from either Vietnamese or Thai culture. The poolside food then poorly attempts an array of fusion foods with Korean, Chinese, etc influences. There needs to be a rebranding effort for this tropical resort that is up to the social/ethical standards of the 21st century.
