“We had a very nice and peaceful visit. The condo had everything we needed and was nice and spacious. We enjoyed the bar & grill The Wreck conveniently located next door along with a few shops. Thank you for a great stay 👍👍”

“The management company, particularly Barbara, was very helpful and prompt in replying to all questions. Five stars for this! The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 13; however, the house is in need of updating. The dryer went out during our stay but was repaired but all appliances need to be upgraded. Pressure washing is needed for the exterior as we were unable to use the outdoor furniture due to the bird droppings and spider webs. Carpet is also in need of replacement. Although……

“Ocracoke in the early spring is always a treat and this visit did not disappoint. Red Beard's Retreat is a little gem one block off Hwy 12 across from the village Variety store. Our unit was comfortably furnished and check-in was seamless. We had everything we needed and the housekeeper, Maria, lived upstairs and was always available to answer any questions we had. It was obvious that much time and thought went into the furnishing and design of the unit. We plan to visit again next year and……

“This place was perfect for our little family. We had top floor and it was perfect. Walk to beach was perfect as well. View of ocean was amazing from the deck. The floor below us had other tenants and you could hear them very well talking or tv and their dog and when they walked the whole place shook. It was a little too close for comfort but we weren’t home much so we tried not to let it bother us.”

“My wife, son (age 13) enjoyed our stay in our first visit to the outerbanks. We are lifetime North Carolinians and finally made it the Outer Banks. We had a great time. The condo was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The home is well appointed. Parking is very easy in the garage with elevator access to the main floors. I've already recommended this home to my sister and a work colleague. The owner was very responsive. We had no issues, but he followed up with us during our stay and after……

“Great property to enjoy some time right by the beach! Little strange that no linens or items for the bathroom such as a foot mat or towels are included - you will need to bring all of that on your own. The unit could also use a deep clean as in numerous areas, it was incredibly dusty or I could see hair from previous stays. This was not a huge deal to us however as our stay was short and the host was helpful in allowing early check in.”

“Katherine and Dan were wonderful hosts of their yacht the Starry Banner. We were able to bring our dog and we all enjoyed our unique stay. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable,down to fresh flowers and special treats for our pooch.”
