Spacious house, just as described
6 adults stayed with plenty of space. House is as described. Plenty of dishes, towels. Provided cleaning supplies (dawn, tide pods). Also had some general spices/oil in cabinents. Hot tub was hot and clean. Beds clean and made. The wifi was very slow. Also, verizon service was not good either so make sure directions/maps are downloaded. Overall would stay again if needed.

Summer 2023
We enjoyed the privacy, the hot tub and fire pit were a nice touch. The kitchen was reasonably well stocked - did appreciate the dish washing soap, sponges and paper towels. The internet was pretty weak - we had some folks who were trying to work remotely and it was not enough. I guess that is to be expected in a rural setting. We enjoyed the town of Packwood.

Great Getaway with Elk!
House was perfect for 2 couples with extra room upstairs. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals. Hot tub temp was right and jets worked perfectly for these achy muscles after a good snow shoe up at White Pass. The bonus was watching the wandering herd of Elk pass through and hang out on the property. We would definitely ruturn to this great getaway cabin.

Home away from home!
Our family of 5 rented this cabin with another close family of 4. The accomodations in the house were perfect for our home away from home! The upstairs bedroom had 5 twin beds and the two other bedrooms had king size beds that fit us all comfortably. We enjoyed the seclusion and space yet proximity to town and White Pass were definitely ideal!

Perfect Getaway
My husband and I stayed here with our 4 young sons. The boys loved being able to have little adventures in the forest; they saw all kinds of wildlife. The mornings and evenings were so peaceful! The house was very well maintained and stocked. The deck is huge, which was really convenient when trying to contain 4 little ones. The owners responded to my messages very quickly. The loft area is amazing! Giant bonus room with 2 couches, 3 twin beds, a dresser, a walk in closet, a TV, and a large bathroom. The whole place was very clean. Even under the deck. No spiderwebs or built up debris. You can tell the whole property is very well maintained. The living room area gets very hot when the sun is beating down on it, even with the AC going, but it just forced us to spend more time outside. There are DVDs and VHSs stocked everywhere; lots of choices, but we couldn't get the DVD remote to work, so you couldn't rewind or fast forward. Those two things were probably the biggest issues, and they're so minor. It did not impact our stay at all. Overall, I highly recommend staying here. I know we will definitely be back!

ReTREAT
As I saw in some previous reviews, pictures do not do it justice. This is a beautiful, quiet, and private property. Town was about 5 minutes away and had anything we thought we might need or forgot. Packwood also has a brewery that was fun to visit. The hot tub was a major highlight, as was the fire pit. Plenty of room for our Shepard to run and relax. We did have the elk come through one evening as well which was very exciting. We let our older parents take each of the two downstairs rooms, and we pushed together a couple of the twins upstairs - although not very comfortable, we loved the big upstairs area with its own bathroom and sitting area with 2 couches, so we really had our own space. Everything was nice, rustic, nostalgic, and importantly clean. We had a minor thing with a door handle and they responded very quickly. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again!

Friends Trip to Packwood
We (a group of 6 college friends now in our 30s) all had a great time. This cabin was perfect for what we needed (access to Rainier, privacy, a nice quiet space to hang out). The house has a small charcoal grill and a very nice kitchen, which was more than enough to cook for all of us. The town of Packwood is only a 10 minute drive and it has the essentials you'll need for the trip. We all loved this house! There were a lot of bugs outside, but there's not much you can do about that, so as long as you bring your bug spray, you'll be in good shape.

Cabin getaway
Cabin was amazing and secluded, easy to locate and offered everything listed on site. Rooms were comfortable and cozy. The fireplace and hot tub were excellent features to have on cold days and nights. The property is large enough to enjoy with multiple people and yard was amazing to explore. Beautiful location and excellent for families wanting to get away to the woods.

Nice place, clean, appropriately equipped, etc.. Some recommendation: replace charcoal grill with a gas grill - hard to keep charcoal going in the rain; the TVs had no connectivity and the DVD player was broken-this should be part of the unit description; description of the route to the property could be improved and the property address numbers more visible from the road. Thanks

Spacious and comfortable for friends and family to ski the pass
The accommodations were excellent - comfortable beds, cozy common areas, and really appreciated the upstairs layout of multiple beds for the kids. The only thing that might be a welcome improvement would be to update the washing machine and dishwasher to reduce water consumption. As for location, we were an extra 10 mins from downtown Packwood so it added a little bit of time to get to White Pass, but definitely not a big deal for us. That said, the fairly secluded area the cabin was in gave our two families a place to wind down and hang out in the hot tub without worrying about disturbing any neighbors. And the wide and open space outside was perfect for the kids to run around and burn some energy! Communicating with the property manager was easy and responsive. All in all a relaxing and comfortable stay for our two families - thank you so much!

After a long flight from the east coast this property was the perfect place to spend our vacation. Very clean, the beds were comfortable. And the kitchen was fully stocked to cook a nice meal. Great Place - Very Secluded
This is a great rental property that is very secluded. Great access to Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. Dining options in Packwood were limited, so plan on lots of meals in. We did find a great restaurant in Randle called The Bistro, about a 20 minute drive. The internet connection was not the best, so be prepared to be patient if you are working out of the house there. Elk come by most every morning right outside the windows!

Perfect.
Great house on a spacious property. Kids enjoyed the electric keyboard, VCR (watched an old musical!), and the large bookcase full of Nat'l Geographic magazines - super cool. (White carpeting in much of the house, so leave your shoes in the utility hall near washer dryer.) Kitchen offered some spices, sugar, coffee. The grocery in tiny Packwood is AMAZING - has EVERYTHING you might need, including a fine produce department and even excellent cheeses. Staff is friendly, the store is super clean, and must be incredibly organized - still don't understand how it seemed to carry everything you'd find at a full size supermarket but it was smaller than a Trader Joe's. Also in Packwood: a very nice brew pub, super chill with casual outdoor seating. (Street tacos were the best I've ever had.) Closest entrance to the national park is very near Grove of the Patriarchs, a family friendly (easy) hike which is totally worth it. Several interesting plaques along the way describing these magnificent, ancient giants. And the suspension bridge you walk across to get there is cool. Just across the street from that is a beautiful hike along a creek with waterfalls. A more strenuous hike because of the descent and the climb, but easy enough if you're in good shape.
