“I just want to say our welcome to Konokono Beach Resort and Isaraya was one of the Kingly Experience too bad we had to spend just a night evening and morning. The General manager was so professional and very understanding. My wife did not want to leave this place. If you are looking for serenity, quite and privacy. “We enjoyed our stay at the Le Mersenne and loved the detail and design of the room. Well appointed. The service was great, location is close to Paje Beach and the Treehouse Restaurant but also far from Stone Town and other popular beaches so plan to either book a driver or rent a car. We booked a scooter thru the hotel and traveled to Paje. DJ played great music at the hotel. We loved the vibe! With that said, a few things to be noted … Limited food options and we grew bored of the pricey……

“Very friendly staff everywhere ,I could mention a few (alibaba ,Suleiman, the waiters animation front desk they are all a good team).the Villas are perfectly designed and decorated .they compound is kept clean all through. What I wasn’t really pleased was the variety of foods, I missed local foods on the daily basis ! The drinks on all inclusive were terrible especially the juices .”

“The staff is great! Very friendly and service minded. They are the best about this place. The food is good but not amazing. Another issue regarding eating, is that there is no restaurant close by. We ended up using a taxi taking us to other places to eat. Expect bout 10 minutes by car to some good restaurants. One night the managed decided to get some things fixed, problem was that this was close to midnight and for about 1 hour there was a lot of noise when we wanted to sleep. I went to……

“This is an idyllic, quiet, adults only hotel. The rooms are lovely and modern with air conditioning. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the 4 course a La carte dinner is outstanding with lots of choice and variety. The location is right on the white Sandy beach with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely recommend. ”
