It's no wonder it was so cheap on a holiday weekend--very run down property. Obviously for partyers that don't care. Bad beds, all tile and some broken. Not very clean, and the bathtub looked dirty with the finish coming off. I found another hotel for the 2nd night. Very noisy all night, and very limited parking.

The room and view were excellent. I have been staying at The Reef for several years; however , the parking situation is now impossible. They give you a parking permit but the parking is taken by Sharkey’s customers. It has made me rethink whether or not we will return to this property. Hopefully management can resolve this problem so that the hotel will reclaim the parking lot.

No one would help with the problems. No clean towels. Mold in the bathroom, the room flooded when it rained, no one would come to the room for assistance, we will never stay again

The property is old and that is to be expected. However my first room had sand and what was hopefully chocolate ALL over the sheets so I had to change rooms. Also the shower floor was NASTY in both rooms so shower shoes are a must. The bed was more of a hammock as it was so indented that you just roll to the middle. But overall the location was great and I would come back for a cheap stay with a great location. Just bring your shower shoes and the rest is bearable compared to the savings! Also bring the febreeze little spaces and sit them on the a/c fins, makes the mold smell disappear.
