Welcome to Islandia 318,

This spectacular unit is prominently located next to the beach on Lake Powell. Islandia 318 features a fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, boat ramp, fishing dock, pool, and incredible dune lake views. Islandia 318 accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. If you have a larger party Islandia 318 is connected to Islandia 319 with a lockout door. Rent this home with Islandia 319 to accommodate up to 12 guests!

If you don't feel like fighting for a beach with the rest of the tourists, stay with us on the desirable and quiet west end of Panama City Beach! The million-dollar views will take your breath away and the nearby nature trail walks will renew your senses. We recommend driving since you have to cross Hwy 98, which runs along the beaches.

Our property is located in Pirate's Cove. The condo is conveniently located directly off of HWY 98 for easy access. Pirate’s Cove is a lakefront community with old Florida charm built back in the '80s. This unit is located on the second floor of a small three-story condo building with only 12 units. Please be advised there is NO ELEVATOR in the building. There is a boat ramp and fishing dock on site.

Our Destin properties have exceptional cleaning standards. All linens are cleaned and changed out after every guest!

Home Layout:
One king-size bed in the bedroom, a shared bathroom in the hallway, and an open concept living area with Full over Full bunk beds. This home sleeps up to 6 people.

The unit has High - Speed Internet and two SMART TVs; please use your password to log in to Netflix or other apps.

Each unit has two standard-sized parking spots below the building. The parking spaces are assigned with your unit number.

Check-in time 4 PM (Central) and Check-out time 10 AM (Central)

Spa Quality amenities featuring high thread count hypoallergenic linens, towels, and a starter set of soaps, shampoo, and lotions are provided. Any additional amenities or extras needed are the guest’s responsibility to bring with them.

Three public beach accesses within a mile radius;
Going East - Bayou Bill's Crab House restaurant - public beach access.
Directly across the road - Carillon Beach public beach access -- gated access point - the guard will give you directions and a free day pass.
Going West - Orange Street South; beach access with showers and bathrooms - cross the Inlet Bridge going past Camp Helen turn left on Orange Street S.

A gym, restaurants, bicycle, and paddleboard rentals are available in Carillon Beach directly across the street.

AGE REQUIREMENT – Spring Break college groups are not allowed. No reservations will be made to students or singles under the age of twenty-five (25). One (1) guardian of twenty-five years or older is required for every four (4) singles under the age of twenty-five. Guardians must accompany anyone under the age of twenty-five (25) at all times and be present during check-in. Underage drinking and/or partying are not allowed in any of the rental units. Non-compliance with these rules and regulations will result in immediate eviction with no return of any and all payments made.

Check-In and Check-Out times are strictly enforced since our maintenance crew and cleaners will occupy the parking spots from 10 AM - 4 PM. There is a minimum fee of $200 for a late checkout because this prohibits the staff from completing the job and will interrupt the next guest’s vacation. Thank you for understanding!

Please note! for stays of a month or longer, there will be a mandatory clean required of $122.00 For stays longer than two months, there will be a mandatory clean each month. Thank you for understanding!

Pet Policy: **Dogs Welcome! All dogs need to be approved by the homeowner - some restrictions apply (small dogs only no larger than 45 pounds).1-2 pets max. Non-Refundable dog fee of $150 to be collected post-booking. Please note without prior knowledge to Love rentals there will be a minimum of $500 and in some cases can be up to $1,000 so please ensure you advise us BEFORE you travel. Dog owners accept full responsibility for the dog. This fee will be collected post-booking!

Secluded and quiet location, just what we were looking for. Everything we needed (supermarket, drugstore, Dunkin) was maybe a quarter mile away. If you don’t care for all the car and foot traffic near the beaches, this is the best place for you.

The unit was very nicely cleaned upon our arrival. The location was close to great beaches and Rosemary Beach. I recommend bringing extra garbage bags and paper products as only a minimal amount are provided. This is a great rental for the cost and location.

The property was as listed and is very nicely decorated and put together. The neighborhood wasn’t great, but we didn’t stay in it other than to sleep. It was close to public beach access, 30A and PCB. The fan didn’t work in the bathroom, but otherwise everything inside the property was great.

Nice boat launch
The location is perfect if you have a kayak or small boat and want to paddle around Lake Powell and over to Phillips Inlet. There is a nice boat launch on the property. The condo is in a great location. Very close to 30A neighborhoods without paying 30A prices. The only reason I didn’t give it an overall 5 star rating is because the property is older and has very thin walls. Other than that it was a very good experience

Beautiful condo
The condo is beautiful. The owners thought of all the little details too. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the property. The only suggestion I would have is to bring a sound machine if you are a light sleeper. You can definitely hear outside noises as well as the neighbors on the other side of the condo.

Disappointed: I was told there was no stairs. The ad said swimming pool but it not heated disapoint
We were not told of construction work that would be done the last week of our stay. They worked right under where we stayed. It was very loud and woke us up at 7:30 am every morning. It was hard to take nap in afternoon. Our little dog hated the noise. I think the owners owe us for the last week we stayed there. It was not pleasant!

Unit was exactly as advertised. Super clean! There was a permanent tenant in one of the units in our building who happened to be outside when we were unloading and insisted on helping with carrying some of our luggage up. Only 2 short little flights of stairs. We had issues with both televisions and after contacting maintenance, a technician was sent out next day and ended up replacing both TVs within a couple hours. I was very impressed with the prompt response and attention to this matter. We will definitely stay at Islandia 318 again!

Clean and updated
This property worked well for my family of 5. The bunk beds were very roomy and a big hit with the kids. The property was clean and updated throughout. It was very quiet. We didn’t have any disturbance from neighbors or people outside. Mattresses were on the firm side. The porch and view of the lake were nice. Corillon beach directly across the street has so many shells. We had a great time looking for shells and enjoying the beach. The pool is very close also but we didn’t get in since it wasn’t quite hot enough out for us. When you enter Pirates Cove it doesn’t look too nice but the building we stayed in looks recently painted and nicer. We recommend it if you’re looking for a quiet place for your family.

Great but pool not usable
We really liked the condo but we booked this one over a different property because this one advertised a pool. There was a poop but it was green and murky for almost our entire 2 week stay. The day before check out, they finally got it fixed. 2 weeks without the pool was difficult when you have young kids who can see the pool but don’t understand why they can’t swim in it. The property manager was aware of it because we could see her out there daily adding more chemicals. She finally got what appeared to be a pool service company out there 2 weeks later.

The back balcony is nice for coffee and the view of the lake from the balcony is serene, The drive in makes you question what did we get ourselves into, but the building is around the corner where you actually stay. It was the only place available with a late booking and close to where we wanted to be. We might stay again for a last minute 2 day trip but not for a week (mainly for the property environment). TVs were glitching some but the beach is why we came. The bath mat towel is thin and could use a thicker one which would help with water and the bathroom fan seems like it needs some work. Shower and floors were all clean. Thank you to whoever cleaned! No visible mold but I imagine with repeat showers and a fan that doesn't operate well it could be come an issue.
