The beach is BEAUTIFUL. It’s absolutely gorgeous. However in terms of the resort… I’m a little concerned. I am certain that I saw mold in our room that had layers of paint over it. The bathroom also had mold. I definitely got a little bit of mold toxicity from my stay, so do be mindful of that. I think they are aware of the mold problem because the wood floored hallways were consistently being drenched in vinegar during our stay. It was nauseating walking from the elevator to our room. I would say the flavor of the food at this resort was really good compared to other RIU resorts. The downside is that you have to make reservations for the restaurants, and they typically open 3 days before the date. So that means you shouldn’t expect to be able to try the restaurants on the first two days of ur stay, minimum. You are able to see the sunset on the beach, so that is definitely a plus. Lastly, I would describe the service as good. They are a little more strict in terms of covering up before you enter the resort. I also think they might have a shortage of towels, because they kept forgetting to give us new towels after taking ours away. And then it would take an hour to wait for them to give us a new towel after requesting it. But overall everyone is super nice and friendly.
