Apartment was clean and roomy for one person. Easy instructions for accessing the apartment. Only downside is the steps to the apartment, there are soo many steps. Otherwise, was only a 10 minute ride to my destinations, so a great location.

This is a great place if you are visiting Independence Hall and Liberty Bell! It is a great experience of how people live in the busy cities. The stairs to the 3rd floor were steep and it made it difficult bringing up our luggage and there isn't any elevator.

We loved the condo. It's in an excellent convenient location for tourists. Long staircase up to it is a minus. Communication from Expedia was very poor. We were on an Amtrak train heading for Philly, and didn't have any info on checking in, how to unlock doors, etc. It's a good thing I got phone numbers of the owners months ago, as I had to call one of them to gain access. I'm thankful he was available when I called.

"Unfortunately not."
When we arrived, we discovered that the condo wasn't clean yet. When the cleaner arrived, she explained that it was a heavy cleaning day as she had to replace some furniture. That's fine, and we let her drop off her towels. Later that night, as we were settling in, we noticed that there was hair in the tub we hadn't yet used. We contacted the owner, who apologized, but said in response to us asking whether the cleaner would return to clean the tub, "Unfortunately not." There was no real response from the owner. We enjoyed our time in Philly, but next time I don't think we'll get a hotel.

Great location: 1 block from Liberty Hall
Two blocks away from Liberty Bell. Very nice kitchen, living room, sofas, bathroom, bedroom. Eating was a little inconvenient: either Bar stool/Kitchen counter or Sofa/Coffee table. Caution: the 42(?) stairs to the 3rd floor were steep, narrow, straight up with only one tiny landing at the only 2nd floor apt. door (the way down with heavy luggage was scary). No washer/dryer in apt. or building, Laundromats are quite far away. We found a nice one on 5th St., just north of South St. (IM Laundromat). Parking was expensive, hard to find, mostly prohibited; enforcement is aggressive (we got 3 parking tickets in less than 24 hours: $40+$45+$80 = $165). Overall rating would have been 5 stars, if it weren't for the noticeable smell of weed in the apartment. Public transit Airport - Jefferson Station: The Airport Line ran only once an hour (on a Tuesday afternoon!) and terminated at the Amtrak Station (on 30th Street), due to rail repairs. Then you walk a block outside to the Market-Frankford Lightrail Line (it's an underground station, entrance is small and hard to spot). Choose Direction Frankford and exit at Market St. & 8th St.

Great location, clean crashpad!
The property was clean and in a fantastic location. It met expectations based on the listing and was easy to access! My only criticism was information/communication with the property manager. Minimal but sufficient check in info was provided, but no detailed check out procedures were listed and there was no direct communication with the host despite my reaching out with a parking question days before the stay. Overall, met our needs and was a lovely spot, but more host communication would've made the experience more comfortable.

Wonderful stay
We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was nicer than the photos showed. It was clean and we were able to communicate with the owner easily and quickly. The location was perfect,it is so close to everything we came to see in Philly. We accually parked our car in a lot, only a few doors down,and walked to everything we did for our whole stay. There are quite a few stairs but we are 60 and did just fine. Thanks again for the great stay!

Great stay in Philly!
This apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay in Philadelphia. We were in town for a conference at the Convention Center, and it was an easy walk every day. It was also close to so much history, great food, and in a safe neighborhood. Other reviewers made the stairs sound MUCH more dramatic than they are. Sure, if you have joint issues or something then probably avoid this place, but the third floor walk-up wasn’t bad at all (and I’m pretty lazy 😊). I almost didn’t book because of that and I’m glad I didn’t let it scare me away. If you are coming to Philly, you can’t beat this property for the price and location!

It’s good
This is a nice stay in the heart of Philly, so it’s very accessible to everything. There were a few stains on the carpets, couches, and the chair in the bedroom. But overall, a very clean space. The host can take some time to get back to you but the check in and check out processes are smooth you likely won’t need them. It’s a good stay, but as a heads up it could be bandwidth issues in the area or just bad luck but I was discontented by how slow the internet could be. Those things said, I am very happy with my stay and loved the location. 4/5

I would stay here again
I thought this was a super cute condo. It was a very comfortable stay. The furniture and appliances are all in “like new” condition. As others have said, there are many stairs to climb, but I didn’t think it was as bad as another reviewer claimed. I was expecting worse. The location is excellent!!

Great location, perfect place.
This is a very cute apartment that has everything you need for a stay in the city. There is a parking lot 1 block away. The apartment is comfortable with everything you need. AC worked great, bed comfortable, lots of space and hot shower. Staircase up is only downfall, but didn't change how much we loved this place. We would definitely stay here again.

It is a nice, well-equipped place in an excellent location near all the main sites and several good dining spots ( the Georgian place next door is a must must-try). Brandon was a very accommodating and responsive host. It worked out perfectly for our first visit to Philly!

The property is great for location and price. The property needed help. The pictures put online hide a lot. It has had updates and finishes to look modern and fresh. They updated were horribly done. Bath and shower faucet are loose and move around. The paint looks like they only used a roller. Very sloppy paint job. NO water pressure. No communication about parking. Which was $32 a night with no in and out aloud. There was a slight mention about the stairs. They are steep and straight up to the third floor. Like one big ladder. I had to call VRBO to get the information to get into the unit. The property manager didn’t answer my call. Because he didn’t recognize the number. I would never stay here again. I think everyone should know all the details before renting.

Best location for Philadelphia history.
This 3rd floor walkup is one block from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. It's perfect for exploring the Central City and Old Town. There are FORTY-SEVEN STEPS up to the apartment with a small landing after the 25th step, so it's not the place for anyone who has difficulty with stairs. Brandon was great to work with and was quick to answer all our questions and needs. If you want to discover olde Philadelphia and the Central City, this is the place to stay.
