"Mukan resort was beyond words. I have never had a more wonderful experience in my whole life. The resort was incredibly well kept and serene, and the wait staff were top class. I can’t recommend Mukan more highly!!!"

"While the drive was long and rough, the resort itself and our casita was lovely. Samuel was absolutely amazing in taking good care of us. The food was great. I wish there were more to do in the area, and we wish the beach and water were cleaner in order to swim and walk. Overall it was nice and secluded and we are considering going back. "

"Our stay at Villas Roseliz in Punta Allen was beyond wonderful. A cute and small hotel mere steps from one of the most beautiful beaches and oceans we have ever seen. Large, very clean rooms and bathrooms off a garden courtyard on the beach. A short walk to anywhere in town which offers a number of restaurants and a couple small convenience stores. "Hotel has great potential, but is very poorly managed. This is a very expensive hotel and does not provide a service in line with what is charged. The beach is gourgeous, but full with plastic waste that comes from the sea. All neighboring hotels and restaurants clean their beaches, this one does not. "The end of the road, literally:) The house is very comfortable and once we figured out that a bit of bug spray got rid of mosquitoes we were all good. Nikki our local host (she runs a hotel in town) was very welcoming and helpful (lent me a guitar, let us use her own private beach) and Mariano helped us get bikes ready. "Loved the resort, the staff, and the vibe. The only reason I might think twice before I book my next trip there is the restaurants on the resort. Although, the food was very good, the prices are outrageous. Everything is very overpriced. I paid $125 USD for a small piece of steak! And a $100 USD for one fish. "

Hotel Shibari Tulum - Restaurant & Cenote Club

"I can’t say enough about this property . Not only do they go above and belong for you, but they are super kind and sweet . Check-in is a breeze and staff is always willing to help. The location is perfect! It’s on the beach/ hotel zone so it’s in the middle of all of the popular beach club/ restaurants in hotel zonerela and also, it’s only 20 mins from down town so proximity is good. The airport is about 50 mins away ( TQO) but it’s still pretty good. Only downfall is the limited menus/ pricy items on the menu, but that’s standard in the hotel zone ( this area is known for over priced food and drinks, as most of Tulum is) . The grounds 10/10. You don’t have to waste your time and money going to the other beach clubs it’s the same thing but this hotel is better as it has its own Cenote . Free parking is a plus. The room was SPOTLESS and spacious. The pictures do not give it enough credit and the bed is extremely comfortable. I will be staying here again my next time in Tulum. "
