Everything is great except that you have to wait forever for the food when you go to the restaurants. I would say on an average of 40-50 minutes before the food comes out. Even during the times that are not busy.

We stayed at excellence for the first part of our honeymoon and it was amazing. The staff, the food, the vibe, the entertainment was all the best we’ve ever seen. We love how friendly and fun the staff is and all the food was great. We will definitely be returning to an excellence club property because it was the best type of resort we’ve ever been to.

Beautiful property!!!! The staff were so friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Covered seating by the pool and beach was the reason why we chose this resort and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious!!!!! We enjoyed eating at Kitchen Table and Spice. Special shout out to the hostess Aloshka and waiter Bryan. They made sure out time at the restaurant was enjoyable. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. They had activities theoughout the day and you could use their app to keep track of them. The only negative about the app is the resort map is not interactive. We had to use the websites interactive map as it was easier to naviagte. Will be staying here again. Perfect for solo, groups, couples and folks looking for peace and quiet.

Food was good. Beach was great. Bed was a lttile too firm. The most frustrating "towel game" of any resort in Cancun(we have stayed 15 different hotels). We booked a club room and had to get up at 6am to get a club side beach chair. Nice trip but not blown away, and wouldnt return.

The staff and amenities were fantastic. We've stayed at another Excellence resort previously, it was nice, but our stay at Playa Mujeres rivals Sandals in the food and hotel features. The staff was great and just did everything they could to make you have a wonderful stay. Can't wait to book again in the future!
