We enjoyed the our mornings on the beach and even saw saw turtles and a seal, and found the location was perfect for our day trips and we drove to all points of the island. The had a couple of meals from the food trucks that was a short walk down the road.”

“What can I say the room had a great view the instructions were easy to follow the reason there’s a $100 deposit for parking is because people kept leaving with the parking placards so they upped the deposit. You do get it back when you leave. I would definitely stay here again”

“We had a wonderful time. Close to Polynesian cultural center and beautiful north shore beaches and small town good eats. Yet out of the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Beautiful Ocean view and nice place to walk beach in The morning when the surf is out. We left some clothes in the dryer by accident and our host Lance was so kind as to mail it pack to us - no charge. So very kind. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet low key place.”

“Our family of 7 adults were a bit cramped and sharing 1 bathroom was a challenge, but this is a great location - across the street from the beach, 5 minutes from Laie and the Polynesian Culture Center, close to the North Shore. Tons of beach gear to borrow - we were sorry that our few days there were rainy and windy. Still, way better than staying in Honolulu.”

“We spent 4 nights in the Garden Hideaway and it was a great spot to stay and use as a home base to explore the North Shore. It was just 2 of us this time, but even with 4 in a family, it was a large amount of space to live in. Very comfortable and clean. Would definitely enjoy returning to this location.”

“This property is perfect for families. There is plenty of room for everyone, a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom, an accessible washer/dryer and tons of beach gear to use. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. While the beach across the street isn’t for public use- there are dozens along the shore a short walk/drive away. There is SO much to do in this area. There is some construction just outside but it didn’t hinder our stay at all. The window air units muffled any noise from outside……

“The studio was clean, spacious & nice. However, the host advises "just steps from the ocean." Totally false! To get across to the ocean, you have to cross an extremely active highway. Furthermore, there are several homeless camps you also have to pass. To enter or exit the property, you have to get out of your vehicle and unlock the iron gates that are secured with a bicycle lock. Don't get me wrong, we only stayed at the property at night to sleep. But, I solely payed the high dollar amount to……

“This rental was just ok. It was very close to the beach but had absolutely no views. The rental was cheaply furnished. We didn't spend a lot of time there, really just slept there. A/C worked fine in the bedroom but the living area was warm. The shower was good with plenty of pressure and hot water. It had a washer and dryer which allowed us to wash clothes. It worked for us as a fairly inexpensive place to sleep and bathe just a very short walk (maybe 150 feet) from the beach.”
