"I have now stayed at the Atrio three times in the past 5 years. This was my first visit since Jan 2020 (just before the pandemic). The people, the location, and the service is outstanding (as always). I would stay here again for just those reasons. I do feel the this hotel might have suffered economically during the COVID years. The rooms are getting just a bit dated. "

"This was our 2nd trip back to Hotel Criol. Hotel is beautiful, rooms are very nice. The staff has always been wonderful and helpful. Within just a 3 min walk from Historic Centro, shops and restaurants. The hotel has a very good restaurant as well for breakfast/Coffee. "

"The hotel is located right in Centro and the rooms are fully equipped, comfortable and in excellent condition. The owners both speak English as well as Spanish and are an excellent source of knowledge both the local area and Mexico in general. They're both very nice and hospitable. The internet works well and the rooms are equipped with coffee makers, good air conditioning, hair dryers and pretty much everything you would need. On top of all that the price is great. "This is an incredible, elegant, historic mansion! We enjoyed our stay here. The architecture is wonderful and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is no elevator, but the staff will take care of your luggage. After all, this was built in the 1700s! Our room was was spacious and elegant. The location in the Centro Histórico is very good and within walking distance of the main sites. The restaurant serves delicious Mexican food and a fine pianist provides live music."

"This is a truly boutique hotel. Small, with attention to details. It is not luxurious but it is really nice. The price/quality ratio is appropriate, the bed is super comfy, and it is a very good option to immerse in Dowtown Queretaro. It is within walking distance to several restaurants and bars and yet, I didn’t notice street noice at all while at the property. One thing they can do better is to boost the Wifi Signal in the rooms."
