"I have now stayed at the Atrio three times in the past 5 years. This was my first visit since Jan 2020 (just before the pandemic). The people, the location, and the service is outstanding (as always). I would stay here again for just those reasons. I do feel the this hotel might have suffered economically during the COVID years. The rooms are getting just a bit dated. "

"The hotel is located right in Centro and the rooms are fully equipped, comfortable and in excellent condition. The owners both speak English as well as Spanish and are an excellent source of knowledge both the local area and Mexico in general. They're both very nice and hospitable. The internet works well and the rooms are equipped with coffee makers, good air conditioning, hair dryers and pretty much everything you would need. On top of all that the price is great. "This is an incredible, elegant, historic mansion! We enjoyed our stay here. The architecture is wonderful and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is no elevator, but the staff will take care of your luggage. After all, this was built in the 1700s! Our room was was spacious and elegant. The location in the Centro Histórico is very good and within walking distance of the main sites. The restaurant serves delicious Mexican food and a fine pianist provides live music."

"I enjoyed my stay here, the room was as described and very importantly - the AC worked well (it was very hot while I was here). Staff was also very friendly and attentive - there was an issue with my door latch and it was fixed quickly with no fuss. Location is also great, but beware that in the evenings there is often loud live music nearby which you can hear from hotel room and that seems to go to almost midnight. Two nights of my stay there were brief power outages but they were brief and...
