“My wife and I stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary. It’s was such a relaxing experience. Just the two of us the river and the thunderstorms. Absolutely amazing. The host was very helpful and the place was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. The only thing missing for us was a hammock lol. One key thing, do your shopping before you get into town, the country mart is the only store and it’s very expensive.”

“The listing said there was WiFi but it never worked for us. I reached out to the owner and my concern was not acknowledged. If I had been traveling while working this would have been terrible, as I have to have WiFi for my remote work. I’m okay if I don’t need it, but if the listing says it’s there and find out it’s not, that bothers me a bit and makes me a little uneasy. We lost power, it came back on pretty quick. The cabin is cute and cozy. The views are incredible!”

“The wife and I have made three trips to the area and have stayed at Gill Ridge. Twice at Koi Pond and once at Ellens cabin. The properties are always clean and stocked with plenty of towels, bedding and kitchen cookware. Lots of firewood for the fire pit and grills for outside cooking. Nothing beats laying in your hot tub aftef dark under the stars! Plenty of places to eat in the area and things to do for all ages. We will be back again for our next weekend get away.”

“Hostess was very accommodating and quickly responded to my requests for info or needs. Beautiful property and cabin. Grandkids had a great time during our short stay in Cuba (was there for a wedding). The washer was not working just prior to our arrival and the host was amazingly accommodating and willing to work with us. Great experience! You will not be disappointed!”

“This property was exactly what we were looking for. It is peaceful, serene, beautiful. Loved taking the walk daily down the mowed road through the field down to the river with our pups! We also drove down to the river too.The cabin has an old world charm and the essentials you need like pots and pans for cooking as well as some small appliances, fridge and oven. Plates, glasses and silverware too. The cabin also had air conditioning and heat. They had a TV and wifi which we hardly used. There……

“This cabin is a wonderful mix of rustic and luxury! Every detail has been considered. Out in the woods but not too far from town. Rustic but comfy beds and special touches. The bathrooms are each unique and charming! The kitchen is fantastic! There are also great outdoor spaces that we didn’t quite have time to enjoy on our short stay. I’d definitely return to this sweet little cabin in the woods! It was perfect for our family of 6, but it would also be wonderful for a couples getaway!”
