We enjoyed this property for several reasons. One, since it's not an all-inclusive resort, we wanted to be close to a good variety of walkable distance restaurants. The pool and the beach were gorgeous and well maintained. They close a security gate at 7pm sharp each evening so trying to go to the beach to take photos needs to happen before then or you have to walk through the parking deck to get to the beach. Have to say that was a pain, but it was nice that there was security. Jessica Cruz took care of our room in impeccable fashion and was so helpful and SO kind. She made our stay very enjoyable, we couldn't be more thankful for her. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

The hotel lobby is beautiful. The cleaning staff was awesome. Concierge was very helpful. However the front desk staff was not knowledgeable and gave out incorrect information. The main dining restaurant was closed and from what I was told, has been closed for quite some time. The only place to get food at the hotel was the poolside grill. I was also charged hotel fees upon checkin that were not included in the original price. I spent a lot of time at nearby hotels that had better amenities- casinos, lounges, and restaurants. I would not return.

Caribe Hilton is a beautiful resort and we loved our stay there. The pools and views were amazing. The staff was super nice and we loved our room. Everything was very clean when we arrived and every day that housekeeping stopped by. The areas of improvement would be that there were two elevators and one was broken the entire time we were there so it took time to up and down. Also, hot water to shower was hard we had to wait a while for the water to warm up and play around with the knob to get it right and then most of the time the water would stay hot for like 5 mins and then go back to cold. They lost power one day that we were there twice right when we were getting ready for dinner so that was unpleasant. The water never got hot after that. Other downside was that the food was expensive. It was delicious but way too pricey for our budget so we ate out with the exception of the night of our anniversary. I will say if you can afford Morton's Steakhouse it is the best restaurant in the hotel and in San Juan. The food, staff, drinks, atmosphere and everything else was 5 star quality. Overall we had a great stay at Caribe Hilton and would recommend!
