The staff were nice and helpful, location is great. The boardwalk and the beach literally 5 min walk. The parking spaces may be full. We stayed 2 nights and the second day parking was difficult (they told us we can park handicap parking). The pool is so tiny also they have to pay attention to the cleanliness of the bathroom, towels etc. Overall all it was a good experience for reasonable price!

The room was pretty clean. Except they didnt clean out the fridge. So there was food from the previous guests in there. The male manager aas SO rude. The parking was atrocious. He was selling extra stalls to the randoms for $25. Even if that meant blocking thier own guests in where they couldnt leave. The AC barely worked. And the tv didnt at first either. We had to let the lady from the front desk come fix it. She was very nice at least. And it really close to the Boardwalk. Which is why i picked to stay here. But i dont think id ever stay here again. But it was pretty cheap. So i guess you get what you pay for.

We booked this hotel a month in advance and confirmed on the day of the reservation that we would be staying in the hotel. When we arrived they didn’t have a room for us because “too many people booked” the night before our reservation. The customer service was terrible they tried to move us to a smaller, run down hotel a couple more miles away from the beach.We payed $300 for this hotel and the hotel “down the street” was going for $150 day of. Be careful booking this hotel around holidays or busy weekends.

Comfort Inn was the perfect place to stay for the money. It’s a quick 3-5 minute walk to the boardwalk and we always had a place to park. Our rooms were comfortable and provided exactly what we needed for our stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

This is a motel (basic), but the best value (price versus quality). It had a microwave/refrigerator. The room was very clean. Parking was plentiful and the staff kept the breakfast items refreshed with lots of options (including healthy ones). Staff was efficient and do a great job. If you just need a place to lay your head, this place is a good play to do it.

Pleasantly surprised by the comfortable bed and pillows. The rooms have been updated and rooms were clean. We enjoyed our stay. It’s within walking distance to Boardwalk. We will stay here again.

The room was clean. The property is in a convenient location and parking is free, but the parking spaces are cramped, and this is where the "good" features end. There is clearly not enough parking to accommodate a car per room. The grounds of the facility are kept nice, but the facility itself is old and it shows everywhere. The "Free" breakfast was a joke. Most [but not all] items were present but sparingly and not all fresh. When items ran out you had to ask the desk staff for more, at which time they would put out a limited restock. Breakfast meat (there was only sausage) was frozen & needed to be heated in the microwave. Waffle & syrup dispensers ran dry, and the juice dispenser ran out as well.

Very convenient to the boardwalk. Our first room had the tv go out so we were moved to a new room. Room 103 is fairly comfortable and clean but no absolutely insulation between wall with a connecting door. Man next door loudly singing and loud tv.

I booked this hotel because it was an affordable option for our UCSC tour and its proximity to both the campus and the beach. I didn't have expectations, other than a safe hotel and a comfortable, clean room. This hotel exceeded my expectations with an attentive manager happy to meet any of our needs at any time, a very comfortable room, a good complimentary breakfast, and a quick and easy check in/out. The manager asked me with genuine curiosity upon check out if I could help with constructive feedback about our stay and/or anything to improve. I couldn't think of anything. This hotel is a little gem - affordable, a perfect location, solid amenities, and a quiet, very clean, comfortable place to stay in Santa Cruz. If my daughter chooses this city for college, I anticipate staying here every time I visit her.
