We really liked the location, the hotel was close to the beach, restaurants and a grocery store across the street. We didn't even need our car. The businesses close early so there wasn't a "party" atmosphere outside of the hotel. It was very quiet too and not super crowded. The only drawback was breakfast. It was okay but I've had much better at cheaper hotels.

Good location, clean and spacious room. However the automatically charged parking/resort fee was quite unexpected as a “parking fee” is listed as an “option” but is actually mandatory! I did not drive a vehicle to this hotel but was told that I still had to pay. This is an unfair policy since I did not need or use any of the “amenities” included in this fee!

Excellent property. Only observation is that parking is 25 per night. Just need to be added to the property information. Yet it is worth it. I will come back. It is a new property. The breakfast is excellent. The beach is right there. The is a large Publix grocery store across the street.

Room and hotel was very new, clean. Breakfast was the best I’ve had at any other hotel before. (Lots of choices, and changed a bit each day). Only complaint would be the $25 a day valet parking service. You are automatically charged for it. This would be fine except they are always busy and have to wait on the street while they are parking others.. or when you go to leave the hotel in the morning and have to wake up the sleeping valet to go get your car.

Book it! Our family wanted to visit St. Augustine and go to the beach. After much research we stayed at the Hyatt. Although about 2 short blocks from the beach, the walks were easy to traverse. The hotel offered golf cart transportation to the beach as well. Tour bus for St Augustine will pick you up at the hotel. Negatives: Valet parking $25 per day plus we tipped each time we left and returned. Balcony with the ocean view is a long walk from the elevator. I probably would not pay for the Ocean view again. Not many stores within walking distance. I suggest a rental car to traverse about. It is an easy area to drive in. Not crowded at all. Pros: Daily maid service, breakfast provided in the hotel, kind staff, grocery store-Publix- across the street. The area is not commercialized and is free from smoking and vaping.
