Clean quiet budget hotel

My partner and I travel frequently and we personally love a hotel that is outside of the main part of a city, for the quiet, but also within walking distance or near public transportation. The Comfort Hotel is a 35 minute walk to the Cathedral and situated in a quiet neighborhood. We had a car this trip so we needed parking and the hotel had that but not a lot, it did appear that there was street parking in the area as well. The breakfast offered at 10€ per person was ample and we have paid that price for a lot less in the past. Our room was on the 4th floor with a view of the river, it was spacious and contained a bed, desk, chair, and an armoire to hang a few things and store a piece of luggage. The bathroom was large but the shower was quite small and I suppose that would be my only complaint except it’s understandable that things had to be situated tightly due to possible plumbing constraints and I wasn’t bothered by it. Overall we both felt that there was value in staying at The Comfort Hotel, it is clean, comfortable, offers a friendly staff that goes out of their way to accommodate requests, and has a great location.

Basic budget hotel, very clean, amazing service
Basic budget hotel, the room size was quite small. So small that we had to move the chairs around to navigate in the room and open the door. It can get *really* hot in summer and with no air conditioning I had a hard time falling asleep (that was an exceptionally warm day). The staff is very friendly and the service is exceptional, they allowed my friend to borrow a charger. The breakfast buffet is quite good. Would recommend if you want a budget option to crash for the night, and the weather isn't too hot.

Great value, staff and bedding!
The hotel was a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to town and the reception staff was great, with good ideas (and perfect English from a former student in the US for high school and college). Very comfortable pillows and very bedding. Someone had mentioned thin towels. It is true! And of little consequence to me, given the very low rate, good,sleep, copious breakfast, cleanliness, friendly and efficient reception, and location. I liked it a lot (Plus I am used to having thin towels for my kids who use one and need it washed -- drying is faster and better for the environment if the towels are thin!).

The hotel staff were professional and very helpful. Spoke English. There were many choices at breakfast to choose from. The room was small but clean & quiet. Public transportation is nearby with frequent buses to the train station and downtown area. There is also a nice walking & cycling path nearby. Very good value for the cost.

Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable, helpful staff. Only problem is parking in the private lot. Not big enough to accommodate all guests' cars and the overflow parking out back is extremely difficult to navigate due to very narrow passage. It takes three people to park one car - one to drive and one to watch at the front and one to watch at the back!!

Very pleasant and helpful staff, decent room, tiny bathroom but good enough. One can walk to downtown easily by following the river or take the tram very close. The only challenge we faced is with finding the hotel the first time. Your GPS may get confused (ours did) so consult your map before arriving.

Great service, Great breakfast
We just needed a basic room and this fit the bill. The front desk men were very helpful showing us how to get to tow and airport. The breakfast was fantastic! We'll worth the 9.50 euros.
