"Was it really a 5-star hotel? Well, how about it was as good as it gets in Barstow. I liked the no-carpet rooms. Something in the building made an odd noise but it only happened once. Seriously no big. I'm assuming the hotel is family owned or management lived onsite which made me feel safe. The front desk person was attentive, and patient/polite to people who phoned while we waited. I would stay there again to support this hotel. "Stayed a night was in town to visit family, the hotel room needs some updating maybe new furniture, bathroom remodel, change out carpet add flooring. It was nice and clean but the room was not up to my expectations. Have stayed in various holiday inn’s but this one was not up to date. "
