“You don't absolutely need a car for Howzit Maui, but it's really helpful. The hostel arranges daily tours and activities, but if you don't make it onto the sign up sheet, then you need to make your own arrangements. There are plenty of people who have car rentals, so making alternate plans isn't a big deal. There are six shared bathrooms (with showers) and a seventh just for women. “We absolutely loved getting to use this car. The hosts were extremely helpful with providing extra blankets and a tarp since the weather mentioned rain. We love how organized the trunk was with the camping gear. It is a tight squeeze back there, so not many more items would fit. Plenty of enough space for 2 people, since we used the backseat for our luggage. It would be a bit more difficult with more than 2. Check-in process was a bit difficult only because on the listing it said they can meet……

“Felt lucky to find this B&B for 1 night during our Maui holiday. Clean and beautifully appointed rooms and shared spaces with equally appreciated views and landscaping. We stayed in Room 2 which is just off main kitchen and living area which could theoretically be loud (but wasn’t for us) and had its own door and space on the lanai.
