“Marx is an excellent host and the location is very convenient and central to visiting the different parts of LA. The amenities were especially wonderful - there were snacks, food readily available in the fridge, stocked kitchen, as well as washer/dryer. In the Bronze room a mini fridge was available and private bathroom. Very clean. Check in is very convenient, but I do feel the Expedia description regarding the check in could be a bit more detailed. The August App is used for check in, and……

“Very nice comfortable home. Very clean. Free designated parking behind home. Much more convenient than a hotel, plus free parking and breakfast. Definately stay there for my next vusit to Long Beach.”

“We were unable to find the property or reach Shaw Carter, the property manager (or whatever). We were stranded and Verbo found us a room at Best West. We had to pay for the night and decided to spend the additional 2 nights in Santa Monica. I tried to reach BW for itemized receipt but manager not in until Monday. Will send info asap. ”

“NOT AS ADVERTISED. YOU HAVE TO RING THE BELL AND WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO COME LET YOU IN. YOU HAVE A BEDROOM AND BATHROOM THAT'S IT. THE ENTIRE PLACE IS DIRTY. DEAD PLANTS GREET YOU AT THE DOOR.”

“This property is beyond any expectation. The estate is situated high on a hill and you can see a birds eye view all across the LA area depending on where you stand. It has the romance of old Hollywood’s silent film era coupled with modern amenities and comforting elegant design. The pool was particularly delightful. We will be back again!”

“Excellent instructions on how to find the place and get in. Decently located for Ubering to destinations. Walking distance to a Target, which was great for groceries. Unit was spacious and well equipped. Fast internet. One of the windows however couldn't be fully closed. Not a big deal because the AC unit was strong enough to keep out the heat.”
