“The hotel and staff was great. They did loose power for about twelve hours one day. Nothing they could had known or done. They got it fixed and compensated accordingly. Great dining in the area. A clean city. The down side was loud car revving and burnouts through out the night. Concerning was the high visibility and amount of armed security officers. This was through out the city. “We had a great stay at the Drury Inn at Arrowood! It is very convenient to I-77 and I-485 and close to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. “The hotel is older and could use updating. The room was fine, seemed clean and the bed was comfortable. The faucet in our bathtub did not seal all the way when turning it to shower. The service at the front desk was not too friendly or helpful with questions. Don’t expect any recommendations from them about places or transportation options. “For being a newer hotel in the Southpark Area, felt like the cleanliness and quality of the hotel has gone backwards, from when we visited when it first opened. There were areas of the room that you could tell was not vacuumed properly and were scuff marks all over the wall. There was obvious wear and tears in the room that they tried to cover…but made it look worse. However, on the flip side. Location was close to where we needed to be. Not too crowded.”
