"We visit the Smoky Mountain National Park often and this was our first time staying on the North Carolina side of the park. Our family really enjoyed the cabin as it was close to Bryson City for groceries and food but still felt secluded. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We were a little uncertain of our kids sleeping on the other side of the porch/breezeway but it worked fine and they enjoyed it. We were also close to Cherokee where we did plenty of shopping too. We normally don’t geek out about interior design, but found ourselves marveling at the many pictures and artifacts. They were very interesting. "

"Very good except for 2 things. Water pressure/flow was really low at times. Hard to take a shower. No phone service or Wi-Fi. ( maybe that’s a good thing). Had sat tv but took me a while to figure Direct TV operation out. There was a land line phone in cabin. Bed was nice and comfy. Kitchen was nice and well stocked."

"Cabin was beautiful, very clean, had everything we needed, couldn’t ask for more, also lots of things to do in the area, hiking, river is very near to cabin, Clingmans Dome is about 45 minutes from there and Gatlinburg, TN is about 15 more miles from Clingmans Dome, worth visiting!! Overall our stay at cabin was fantastic!! Will rent it again!!"

Had items for babies…we are empty nesters with grown kids but thought that was very thoughtful of the guest to have that available. Cell service is very limited but that is typical in the NC mountains. Can get text messages and some internet just beyond the fire pit area so in a pinch there is that.
