"Location can't be beat. Within 10 minute drive to Bryson City, which is a charming little town. Million dollar views. The drive up the mountain should not be an issue, even without a 4WD vehicle. No close by neighbors, so very private property. The cabin is very well taken care of, nicely decorated, clean, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Convenient location to several great hiking and bicycling trails. Highly recommended: 5 stars all around."

"It was a nice, quiet place to stay; however, it could use some upgrading as far as living room furniture. The couch and chairs need replacing. Everything else was just fine. We had a great time exploring the area; beds were good."

"The trip up the mountain is one that will not be forgotten! Once you crest the top of the drive you are greeted by a cozy and welcoming home/cabin. Upon exiting the vehicle prepare yourself for a breathtaking, gorgeous and unobstructed view of the Smoky Mountains! We felt at home here! "John the host was very good at responding to any problems we had. There were things about the maintenance of the property I feel could need some attention. Location was just what we asked for. Overall a good stay."

"The ol' gun range cabin was nothing short of magical. The cabin its self was clean and nicely maintained. It has tons of character and is pretty cool. The hot tub was nice as well as the firepit area. If you are looking to disconnect and enjoy nature this is your place."
