"My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here! The resort is absolutely beautiful and our room and views were stunning! We saw so many animals just sitting on our balcony. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The food was great at both of their restaurants. It’s a very short driving distance from Manuel Antonio National Park and they offer shuttle service to and from the park and the beach. We will definitely be back!"

"The resort was beautiful, quiet and clean, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. You will see monkeys and sloths. The staff will point them out to you as well. Most of the community does speak English and do take dollars without difficulty. The restaurants on the resort are pricey, we tried Agua Azul close by and it was delicious and reasonable, Emil’s Cafe was also great but also a little more pricey. Taking a taxi to the local restaurants in Manuel Antonio is about $10 each...

"The View was the reason we chose this hotel. Room was ok, very simple, Pool is mini and needs repair. Restaurant was amazing!!! Room form photos looks like it had a balcony however it is just a walkway that people pass in front of. The Door to the hotel room was a sliding glass door without a standard Handle and lock. For safety you had to leave your key in the lock while inside incase there was an emergency and you needed to exit quickly. It just made it complicated for one person to be inside...

"Las Cascadas has amazing virws of the mountains behind it. We saw birds and monkeys and even deer during our stay. The marina is very conveniently located just down the hill. This hotel is on a mountain, so there are a lot of hills and stairs. If you don't mind a hike, this hotel is definitely for you. All the staff were friendly and willing to help however they could. If you have not rented a vehicle, i suggest contacting them to arrange transportation from the airport in Quepos "

"We went here with another couple and enjoyed 2 junior suites next to one another without other rooms nearby. Everything was great: room, staff, food. We especially loved the birding tour with Julian Fernandez which started at 5:15 AM to look for quetzals (which we saw) and after breakfast we continued with the tour until 11. "This hostel is near everything you need. ATM is two steps out the door (costs $2 to use), the swimming pool is really nice, sunloungers to use are in good condition and well placed, short walk to shops and restaurants and there's a restaurant that is attached to the hostel that does great breakfast for a good price. I would recommend paying extra for a room with air-conditioning because around day 3, I couldn't take much more of our stuffy room. "

"Property is outside of the downtown hustle, but that also meant there was nothing extra around like dining options. It is generally quick to get an Uber to move around from the area (unless you hit traffic). But if you are looking to be away from more of the city environment, but still be close by, this is a great place. "
