“We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things.”

“Love the property. All kinds of birds. There was a running creek and a pond which allowed us to be serenaded by frogs at night. Everything was well kept up. Neighborhood felt safe at night. Found a little café in La Fortuna that specialized in chocolate, Absolutely delicious there.”

“Pablo was a very gracious and helpful host, which made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The spot is beautiful, with amazing views and plenty of wildlife. The kids all loved the swimming hole and hot tub, and it was fun to cook on an open fire. The cabin was comfortable for two families (total of 9 people), and was well equipped.”

“This property has the most amazing view!!!! A must see. The cabin is so cute and there are so many wonderful amenities on the property. It was also the coziest bed I stayed in during my whole trip, I wish I had stayed here the whole time! It was a very nice area, but it was hard for all of my cab drivers to find. “Our Green Treasure House stay was great! The grounds, the outdoor living space and the pool were beautiful. The house itself was pretty basic but the beds were comfortable and the cabin was very clean. There was no need to spend time in the house because the outdoor space was so inviting. We felt very secure as the property was fenced and gated. It did require a taxi or Uber to go anywhere. We loved the property and would highly recommend it.”

“The owners were lovely and gave us a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom cabin which was ideal for us with 2 young children. It had a well equipt kitchen. We did have a few ants coming in but when we told the owner they came down to spray the cabin. Great having a pool at the property for unwinding after a busy day in nature. The town was a 5 minute drive and it was really easy and cheap to get taxis there. Would definitely recommend staying here.”

“ I’m very picky about cleanliness so I chose this cabin because I could see while blankets & towels in the pictures & they didn’t disappoint me! All was perfectly clean & organized The mattress & pillows were very comfortable. Someone said it was hard to locate the place but just following Waze or Google maps we made it to their parking with no problem. “Messed up my reservation, didn't let me know. Lost a night for which I wasn't refunded although they offered to, and amenities were not at all as described in Expedia. There's no TV signal, TVs not pre-connected to wifi, no info on the password, gave me pass 3 options none worked. Pretty pics that don't live up to the actual experience. I'm never coming back.”

“This is an outstanding place to stay. Everything was very clean, and the place is as advertised. There are 2 rooms on the bottom floor (with their own bathrooms). This area was great to give our teens some of their "own" space. We had 2 families with us, and there was plenty of space / beds for everyone. “One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The house is rustic and a little rough around the edges but that is all accounted for in the price and clear in the listing. The village of Santa Elena is close by and great for dining and shopping. Just string the hammock up on the porch and relax.”
