“First of all, this is Carillon Beach and this is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to including Hawaii. Normally, we stay in a house within the community. This time we decided to stay in the Carillon Beach Inn. The property is worn and in need of a good cleaning and painting. Each unit is privately owned and managed by a local company. We did not realize this. So, some units are better taken care of than others. Ours was adequate but in need of updates. With this resort,……

“I was expecting worse after reading the reviews on this hotel but it was great. The place had minimal wear and tear (marks on the walls, etc.) but it was nothing crazy. The room was overall pretty clean and the staff was very friendly! Your room will not be cleaned until the 4th day of your stay as mentioned on the website. There is little parking directly in front of the hotel (which you pay $15 for valet to get) or there is parking in a lot directly next to the hotel+across the street behind a……

“The hotel needs some updating. Had to have have both TVs serviced during our stay. It took a few reminders to get housekeeping done…after 6 days of nothing. Our card keys had to be reset a couple of times. And no they weren’t by my phone. The bed and facility was very comfortable. Oh…and parking kinda sucks. ”
