“Diego was wonderful! Just make sure to ask for bracelets a day or two before arriving so you can go in and out playacar security. (Without having to leave an ID with security) The house was great and plenty of room! Enjoyed the pool, patio, balcony, roof top shower and lounge chairs! Short little walk to the laundry, cafes, mini grocery store. A bit longer hike to the beach and bigger grocery stores but all good! A great way to get steps in! Playa del Carmen is a great town lots of good……

“Lovely house in a beautiful area. Patio in the back yard is a perfect place to sit, have coffee and watch/listen to nature. We had many colourful birds, deer, coatis and agouti. The pool in the front was convenient for cooling off ( be advised that it is about 5 feet deep but does have a shallow area for children). The house was well stocked and we appreciated having the washer dryer and supplies available. The area has many walking paths and we enjoyed our walks to the various shopping……

“We had a wonderful stay at Riu Palace Riviera Maya! The staff was great, everyone was extremely quick to give us great service and met all of our needs well! The employees made sure we had a great time! The one down side was the food. It was not terrible, just really subpar. Breakfast and lunch were decent. It was all tolerable but we found ourselves traveling off the resort to get dinner. ”

“We received an email from them as we landed at the Cancun airport to indicate our room wasn’t available, the replacement accommodations they offered looked in no way comparable. At least they quickly refunded our money but we were left to scramble to find another hotel during the cab ride from Cancun to Playacar. We’ve never had anything like this happen before!”

“Overall good value for the money, but the management gave up on the beach upkeep. Seaweed is a known problem in Mexico but in most places hotel at least tries to clean it up. We were hoping to spend some time on the beach but were quite disappointed. Also, Palace Elite is VERY pushy in offering their membership, which completely smashed our desire to come back to any Palace hotels. ”
