“The room was clean and the people were very friendly. The condition of the room might be considered "shabby chic" but i just would call it shabby. The towels and other bath linens need replacing-terribly stained and shaggy. ”

“Sitting on the front porch of the cabin overlooking a pond and rolling green lawns is tranquility personified. Turkey and deer make occasional visits seen from the well-equipped kitchen window. Every amenity has been considered and the hosts are more than amenable. Although quiet and serene, the cabin is only minutes from Linville, a quaint town offering a train museum and an historic restaurant serving yummy burgers, malts and sodas. It's perfect for a couple getting away from the……

“We enjoyed our stay. The country atmosphere is nice. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The internet connection works great. If you are trying to decide to stay here pay close attention to the size of the cabin, the rooms and the overall accommodations. This is a small cabin with a small bathroom. There is not a sink in the bathroom; however the kitchen sink is close by with a small mirror. It is comfortable for 2 people.”

“It maybe misunderstandings on our part but we didn't realize that the tents are in someone's backyard in a residential neighborhood. The night we arrived, it was rainy and cold. The tent leaked in several places, one was on the bed so it got soaked. The bathroom is outside with a small, tent material cover over the toilet so when you are sitting, the water drips over your head. I went to a hotel the next night while my boys stayed. They finally gave in and came to the hotel to sleep as it was……

“The cabin was clean and accommodating. It is the perfect layout for 2 couples. We each had our own floor with bathrooms and beds. There was an event going on on the property but it did not affect our stay at all. Coffee was available by the property owner which was nice. The only downfall was the fact that there is no key to the cabin. There is a gate with a code that is provided however, especially being out of state vacationers, it would have been nice to know ahead of time that we would not……

“Cabin built out of a metal silo, very ornate and beautifully decorated inside. Simple and cozy. AC was cold and pleasant unlike most of the cabins listing nearby.”

“This stay was just as nice as the previous stay. The house was clean. We were close to family & had a good time. The property owner had snacks available & toiletries that one may have forgotten. I will say to the property owner there may be rodents near or under the porch we kept hearing scratching sounds around that area. Also there were a few cobwebs & spiders in the door frame of the bedroom closets to the front door & in the corner by that same bedrooms bedside table. Overall we were pleased……
