“This trip was for my kiddo’s 14th birthday! She wants to be a national park ranger when she grows up, so what better place to take her than the great Smokey mountains! “The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. Only negatives I could possibly say were that the piece of land it sits on is small, would have liked to have more space, the Mi-Fi would come and go but given the location i understand and the main bad mattress was not comfortable for my side sleeping and boney Hips.
