The room was good for a night. No dining options. The disappointment was the receptionist at check out. They charge a $150 (!!!) deposit, which you (may) get back in a week if they don't find reasons to keep it. To avoid any potential issues about refunding my deposit, I asked that my room be checked in my presence at check out and provide written confirmation that everything was ok, therefore no reason to keep any of my deposit, potentially. They refused to provide confirmation in writing, only verbally. I told them it wasn't enough and that I had to have it on camera stating that. The lady became very rude, called security, and threatened to call the police. If they don't trust me, and ask for a deposit, why would I trust them with a verbal statement? Things must work both ways when you make an agreement! I've heard of plenty of deposits not returned in similar situations.
