“This property exudes charm and character and it is so spacious! It was also very clean and we appreciated being able to park behind the house since we had a car full of stuff as we were stopping in Wilmington on our way further south. We loved that it was just a short walk to the River Walk where you can find a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops. The neighborhood is full of gorgeous, older homes with some spectacular gardens. “This place was perfect for me and my little dog. The hot tub and fire ring were my favorite. Everything seems new, and all was comfy, in good working order and very clean. Comfy bed, plush towels, good AC. I liked the quiet and rocking on the front porch, the stars were amazing at night from the hot tub! If you stay on the road going past the Cabin in about 10 minutes, you’ll come to the Alarka marina on Fontana Lake. I rented a boat and explored the lake. Bryson City was a 15 min ride the other……

“Large, comfortable lower-level apartment right on Lake Norman. Peaceful, comfortable, and quiet. All amenities taken care of. Kitchen is a little dated, but well stocked. Bedroom large and comfortable! Loved the dock and kayaks!”

Amenities says kayak/canoe - reached out to owner to determine if this was the rental across the street but they never replied. Lots (too many) automated emails upon booking, but owner did not respond to my emails.”
