"This VRBO is a wonderful alternative to typical accommodations in Brookings. Private river access on the peaceful Chetco River. A sweet cottage with a full, well appointed kitchen. You can prepare your own meals or take a 10 minute drive into town to a variety of restaurants and ocean beaches. Dog friendly. Very comfortable accommodations. Hostess is delightful. Quiet location. "As long as you set your expectations to truly camping in a tree house you won't be let down! The directions were so helpful, we had a bit of confusion about where to park, and it is a cold water only place. But it was such a treat to camp in a tree house, to take the dirt roads and truly be off the grid, and the cold water added to the experience. We were charmed by the mosaics all over the farm, and my children still talk about the sweet dogs that stuck by our sides the whole time. We will...

Being just a stone's throw away from the beach was a dream, especially with the added bonus of having it nearly all to ourselves. Plus, their thoughtful provision of a hose outside made cleaning up our two furry friends a breeze after their sandy romps. "Aneka couldn’t be a better host. The loft had one bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen, which came with farm fresh eggs! The hens that laid them were right outside the window. We brought our pups who enjoyed the yard when the chickens were in their coop. The house is minutes away from the beach and redwoods. We very much enjoyed our stay, it was quite relaxing!"
